"Music is my life and deejaying is my passion".

Being able to live your dream job is not something a lot of people get to do. Since the early 1990's, DJ Euphorik has been able to work with his passion: Deejaying. He has worked in Hawaii as a radio disc jockey (under the name Shawn Ho), club deejay and is the current resident vdj at Pearl Ultra Lounqe, spinning top 40, old school, house, trance, electro and mash-ups.

DJ Euphorik has been influenced by such artists as Earth, Wind & Fire, Grandmaster Flash & the Furious 5, Depeche Mode, ATB and Deadmau5. Though it was his love of dance music that led him to experiment in other types of dance music like trance and various house genres, DJ Euphorik does not favor one particular genre. He says, "Good music is good music, no matter where it comes from."  When he was starting out, there weren't many clubs in Hawaii that played only house music, so he learned to play hip hop, top 40, disco and 80's as well. DJ Euphorik eventually began playing at small clubs, house parties and underground parties.

From 1997-2000, DJ Euphorik was a regular deejay at 00spot events such as DJs Against Aids and Phuture Hawaii 2000 - one of the largest outdoor New Year's Eve parties in Hawaii, which also headlined Carl Cox. In the past two decades, his nightclub residencies have included Blue Zebra, Mystique, 1739 Kalakaua, Venus, Pipeline Café and Zanzabar Nightclub. DJ Euphorik has been able to work events with DJs such as Bad Boy Bill, Carl Cox, Richard Vission, Aphrodite, DJ R.O.B. and Graham Funke.

DJ Euphorik created mixes infusing American 80s and 90s Top 40 music with J-Pop, to be played on Kamasami Kong's Japanese Mixshow in Japan. DJ Euphorik, also known as radio personality Shawn Ho, has worked as a disc jockey for 93.1 KQMQ's Q-Morning Zoo and Midday shows, and the Afternoon Drive show for 93.1 The Zone.

In 2004, he opened for Hillary Duff at her Hawaii concert. DJ Euphorik has also worked the grand opening for Hugo Boss Waikiki in 2006, and also deejays at AlX Ala Moana.

DJ Euphorik is currently a DJ4Life Academy instructor which provides one-on-one instruction on the basics of mixing.

When asked about DJ Euphorik, some of his colleague's responses were, "He (DJ Euphorik) is a great deejay and mentor, always professional" and " ... mature. He plays everything, which is rare nowadays. He watches the crowd and plays what they want. He can play anywhere, from an upscale lounge to raves, for all generations".
